Tuesday: 8 September
Once we dropped off our luggage and freshened up a little we could start to explore the city. We were quite hungry so to start our Roman adventure we ate some delicious tomato bruschetta's and half a margherita pizza at Gran Caffe Farini, which was super close to our B&B. After that we took the metro and went to see the Colosseum. We didn't go inside because that's what we had planned the next day (we bought our tickets in advance which I would 100% suggest to do if you'd like to go see the Colosseum, the Forum Romanum and Palatine Hill). It was so impressively stunning! And let me tell you about the wheather... 27°C! Yasss!
Then we went for a stroll passing the beautiful Palazzo Venezia, we visited the Fontana di Trevi (which was sadly under construction), we walked along the Via del Tritone where we jumped and went straight to Sephora once we saw it and ended up at the Piazza della Republica where we stopped and sat down for a while enjoying the sights while sipping a fresh Coca Cola.
After all that we were s-u-p-e-r tired and decided to go back to our B&B and call it a night to wake up bright and early the next morning.

As you can tell I had a blast in Rome! The wheather was great, the food was amazing and the sights were spectacular!
