Denim is going to be h-o-t this Summer. I've seen it all over the catwalks at Fashion Week a few months back and with this 70s trend nowadays, denim is no way to be ignored. I always thought denim is for jeans only but hell no! There's so much more to discover. Here are some ideas on how to incorporate denim into your wardrobe this Summer. Spring is now totally in the air and that means you can store away all your Winter clothes and fill your wardrobe with fresh and colourful items. Every Spring I like to go through my clothes from the year before and hit the refresh button. If I'm not sure I will wear something again I like to get rid of it immediately instead of the item collecting dust in my closet. I like to make three piles: keep - donate - trashcan, it's easier to work like that I find. When I'm all done cleaning up my closet I like to check what I need; do I need new trousers, jeans, shirts, t-shirts, dresses, etc. And then the fun part begins... the shopping! Over the past few years I learnt that when you're shopping you should try to buy some key pieces perfect for the season that you know you will wear until they're threadbare. Here's what's on my Spring 2015 wardrobe essentials list: A crisp white pair of jeans - find them here
A fun and flowy everyday kind of dress - find it here A chic pair of trousers - find them here A fresh and summery blouse - find it here An easy midi or maxi dress - find it here A light trench coat - find it here A pair of cute strappy heeled sandals - find them here A beautiful and again easy denim shirt dress - find it here A pair of cool white Adidas Stan Smith trainers - find them here A pair of funky sunglasses - find them here What are your Spring wardrobe essentials? X Pauline Ohh, how much I would give to be at Coachella this weekend! Coachella is, as most of you know, a very big and famous festival in California. Ever since I knew Coachella existed, I've dreamt of going one day! But that'll probably never happen. Cause it is... (Coac)hella far (Coac)hella expensive And I'm... (Coac)hella sad I can't go But to keep my dream alive, I've looked up some outfit inspiration that I would love to rock one day on this glorious festival. source: pinterest How would your "festival look" look like? X Pauline It's all about the BAGS! Some people have a slight obsession with shoes, well, I must admit that I'm a sucker for all kinds of bags. Anything from a tiny clutch to a big shopping tote, I love it! Forget the statement necklaces, this Spring it will be all about statement bags! Wear them with a simple black or white outfit to really make them stand out. Instead of bying a graphic bag, you can also pimp up your bag yourself by adding some cool accesories to your bag. Think leather stickers, scarves, pins, a keychain, ... just a little extra to glam it up.
What are your favourite ways to spice up your bag? X Pauline Sneakers are totally hot right now. The Stan Smith collection from Adidas is very much on my wishlist at this very moment. They're available in white with pops of colour like green, red, blue, gold, black, etc. but you can also customise them yourself for €115 on the website: here. I think I'm going to save up for the green ones on the picture above, they just look so much fun! You can style them up with a maxi dress or skirt or you can style them down with ankle grazers and a sweatshirt and even with denim shorts in summer they would look gorgeous. Here are some outfit ideas: source: www.clochet.com Stan Smiths by Adidas: €89,95 (here) If you have small feet like me (35-36) you could shop them in the kids section - same shoe, different price... let me tell you! What are your thoughts on this trend? Are they on your wislist too, or are you lucky enough to already have these gems in your shoecloset?
